MARKET OF STARS - EARTH & SKY CROPPED KIMONO

One of our favorite ways to pass the time on a warm, summer afternoon is just lie in the grass and look up at the clouds through the branches of the beautiful old trees that border our headquarters here at Market of Stars. Earth and Sky was created out of a deep appreciation for rare afternoons like these — full of wise ancient trees, and wide open skies! Painted in the late 1800’s by British artist Charles Aston, the palette is a dreamy and meditative play of textures and colors from the natural world. We trimmed Aston’s magnificent tree with moths painted in the 1600’s by Dutch master Melchior d’Hondecoeter. The result is airy and ethereal, and so easy to wear.

100% viscose (derived from plant fibers such as wood and bamboo). Machine wash gentle or handwash and hang to dry. Iron to finish if needed.

Kimono measurements: length 58cm, width (across back, underarm to underarm) 74cm. Model is 5’7” for reference.

Earthy, playful, and effortless — this piece will be your new favorite for elevating wardrobe basics. Throw it on with jeans or linen joggers for an everyday chic outfit, or pair it with a long bohemian skirt and some eclectic jewelry for a more artsy vibe. We also love this piece crossed over in the front and French-tucked in to a pair of high waisted trousers — such a cool look :)
